How to calculate final score in Scythe
Your final score is built by combining your raw coins with tiered multipliers determined by your final position on the Popularity Track. Stars and controlled territories are multiplied by your popularity tier value, while your total accumulated resources are halved before being multiplied by their corresponding popularity tier. Add these calculated values together to find your grand total and crown the winner.

Frequently asked questions
Is popularity added directly to my final score?
Players often mistakenly think popularity points are added directly to their score. Instead, popularity acts as a tier multiplier that dictates how much each star, territory, and resource pair is worth. A player with fewer achievements can easily win if their popularity tier is maxed out.
Which resources count toward my final score?
Only resource tokens resting on hexes controlled at the end of the game by the player count toward scoring. Resources sitting in personal supply or on uncontrolled hexes score zero.
How are resources calculated for scoring?
Individual resource tokens are divided by two (rounded down) to form "pairs" before being multiplied by the popularity tier rate. Having an odd number of total resources leaves a leftover token that yields no extra points.
What happens when someone places their 6th star?
Placing the 6th star on the Triumph Track ends the game instantly on that exact turn. Players do not get a final round or subsequent turn compensation once the trigger occurs.
